- The Story -

This farm all started with one man and his dream back in the early 1950s. Darrell Saul Sr. began the place by pedaling minnows to the local baitshops. He and his first truck driver (his wife Joyce) supplied baitshops that were hundreds of miles away with minnows (mostly golden shiners). The farm only consisted of 20 acres back then. Darrell Saul Farms has come along way since the 1950s. We went from having six minnow vats to a 45 vat minnow shed facility and an indoor hatchery. The Lord has tremendously blessed the business and our family since its beginning.

 

 

 

 

 

Well, as the family grew, so did the production. Saul Farms has been known for many different things over the years. In the early 1980s we began our polled herferd ranch and then moved to raise some of the best Quarter Horses in the country. However our fish have always been the constant for our company. Although we have grown to over 3,500 acres of production area, we still value a hard working attitude to serve our customers to the best of our ability! We will do everything possible to continue our tradition of quality and will compete with most any competitor.
